Ed Stuber

Ed Stuber, CIH, ROH - Edward is a certified industrial hygienist, by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, 3971 CP since 1988. In 2016 he obtained his Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH). 1977, he received a Bachelor of Science from Grove City College, Grove City, PA. majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. Edward is currently the SGS Business Development Manager for the Northeast United States and Canada. He has practical experience and expertise in the areas of Indoor air Quality (IAQ) , LEED investigations and surveys from a laboratory perspective, industrial hygiene consultation, and regulatory compliance. For over thirty years, Edward has worked with both USA and Global clients to assist them regarding IAQ investigations, industrial hygiene technology, sampling plans, training, and regulatory interpretation. Ed has over 30 years of experience in industrial hygiene laboratory operations. He is responsible for business development of industrial hygiene laboratory clientele, both in the US and abroad and technical consultation for industrial hygiene sampling and analysis projects.

Ed has presented several PDC’s, poster sessions, and roundtables at the AIHCe National Conference. He also recently came back from Mumbai India where he was an instructor for AIHA’s Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene Course. He also was a faculty member, teaching the Occupational Hygiene Training Association’s Measurement of Hazardous Substances in both Kula Lumpur, Malaysia and Shanghai, China. Ed received Harriett A. Hurley Award as the AIHA’s Analytical Accreditation Board (AAB) 2010 member of the year.

Previous to working at Galson Laboratories, he was a project manager for the Industrial Hygiene Division of Atlantic Testing Laboratories - where he was responsible for overseeing various IH field-sampling projects.
